Summertime! Its been hot and beautiful lately, and although we haven't been on any big adventures its been nice to be home, enjoying summer. Here's some pics that have been backing up a bit.

We haven't had too many backyard fires as it has been too hot lately, but the boys were begging for days so one cooler night, on a day they had a nap, we busted out the marshmallows. I love hanging out by the fire in the back of our property.

And yes, its huckleberry season again. Rossland is filling their freezers, and the bears are filling their bellies. Seems like a pretty good year out there. Good fat guys in the shade and they are pretty plentiful.
Kari and the kids and I went to Blackjack. The kids were great as they all love to pick huckleberries, once they lost their enthusiasm food helped, but the best was the markers Odie brought which they coloured a tree trunk with. Genius!
