Demo Days at the ski hill are great, you get to try all the latest skis for free and decide whether you are ready for new skis for next year. Unfortunately for us, while there are Demo Days at the ski hill, we are having demo days at the new house. Not nearly as fun. So far, logs have been sanded throughout half the house, ready for polyurethane. All the carpet, padding, staples and tack strips are out, ready for new carpet and flooring. The ugly cheap tongue and groove walls are down, (that was pretty fun), and drywall is going up. The new stairs that will be going in the front room are being built and the old stairs are slowly being demo'd. The hole in the floor is ready to be covered up. Good progress. So grateful for grandma and grandpas help.
