Rachel and I finally got an easy day with no trail breaking, just following the boys skin tracks and lines. On a spectacularly beautiful blue bird day we took our time and LOTS of pictures on our way. Mt Sir Donald and all its surrounding peaks were so spectacular. We hiked right to the top of Copperstain Mountain and hung out in the sun taking in the view. Eventually we skied down besides the guys track on the south facing slope, followed their track back up to Ptarmigan and then skied some great turns down the face of Ptarmigan. A spectacular day in beautiful powder. We arrived back at the lodge to dinner ready and almost on the table. This is a great life we have up here.
